Blood tests are carried out at Farley Road and are also offered at our Branch Surgery. Please telephone the Surgery on 020 8651 1222 to make an appointment or use the NHS App to book your appointment online. You can also book an appointment through AskFirst.
Blood tests at CUH are available at the same days and times as they are at Purley War Memorial Hospital (Monday to Friday 7.00am to 4.50pm excluding Bank Holidays). Appointments for the adult phlebotomy department at both hospitals can be arranged by calling 020 8401 3028 or emailing ch-tr.phlebotomybookings@nhs.net. Children aged 16 years and above must use the adults department and cannot be seen at the Paediatrics department. Children between the ages of 12-15 years may have a sample taken at an adult phlebotomy department; however, this is at the discretion of a phlebotomist, will depend on a child’s suitability and will not use numbing cream or spray as the adult phlebotomy department does not have any. Appointments for children 15 years and under can be made at the Paediatrics department/Willows Unit by calling 020 8401 3177 - they have numbing cream/spray and are at CUH only.
Blood tests are available at Purley War Memorial Hospital Monday to Friday 7.00am to 4.45pm. This is appointment system only. Please call 020 8401 3028.
No children under 12.
