Clinical Commissioning Groups in South West London are working together on a project to reduce medicine waste. Every prescription costs the NHS money, even if you pay a prescription charge.

Over £110 million worth of medication is returned to Pharmacies in the UK every year. Last year, it cost an additional £142,000 to collect and dispose of unwanted medication across South West London.

• Ensures you only get the medicine you need at the time you need it
• Helps prevent the build-up of unused or old medicines at home
• Improves safety, reduces and saves medicines waste and saves valuable NHS resources
